A documentary performance for two people
“08.01.89 Eyal and I met in the afternoon. We walked by the sea, in the rain and then set at ‘Terminal’ and it was really nice. We talked and talked. At 18:30 we went to his place, drank coffee and I had a nap. at 20:00 Eyal woke me up, we watched TV and had a mushroom soup and then we started kissing.”
The first time I saw Eyal I was 17. He had a long hair and he was very handsome. I fell in with him immediately…
I documented our complex relationship, in great detail, in a Motorola office diary.
35 years later I decided to invite Eyal to go back, together with me, to this relationship (to the pleasant moments and also to the less pleasant ones), to reveal the diary to him and to document our new encounter and what it brings up in a new office diary
He agreed.
